{"id":13101,"date":"2016-06-09T01:21:27","date_gmt":"2016-06-09T05:21:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/margiewarrellold.flywheelsites.com\/?p=13101"},"modified":"2016-06-09T01:21:27","modified_gmt":"2016-06-09T05:21:27","slug":"marianne-williamson-tears2triumph","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/margiewarrell.com\/marianne-williamson-tears2triumph\/","title":{"rendered":"Marianne Williamson: Don&#8217;t run from pain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Life can be painful.<\/p>\n<p>This may sound\u00a0like a pretty\u00a0negative thing to say but having had\u00a0numerous painful periods in my life, I believe\u00a0so much suffering people experience comes from\u00a0trying to avoid it.<\/p>\n<p>Which is\u00a0why I&#8217;m excited to share with you my recent conversation with one of my all time favorite authors, Marianne Williamson. What I love most about Marianne is her fierce commitment to saying what she feels needs to be said, even if it\u2019s not what people want to hear. Myself included. The first time we met she admonished me for \u2018diminishing myself\u2019\u2026 something we laugh about in the video below.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GfXxFvHBTmo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h6><em>When we run from what is causing our pain, we set ourselves up to feel more of it. It\u2019s normal.
