Hi Tim,
I think the most valuable way to connect with the intuition is simply to spend some time in silence and sitting in the question, what is my intuition telling me right now?
Then simply be open to whatever answer comes up.
I also find journaling very helpful.
Good luck and remember that the more you practice it, the better tuned-in you become over time.
